đź“š NBT Preparation Details
NBT stands for National Benchmark Test. This is an examination set up by the National Benchmark Test Project. The NBT is a set of tests used to assess a learner’s academic literacy, general knowledge, and mathematical skills in an effort to measure academic readiness for university.
The NBT tests students in three domains:
- Mathematics (MAT)
- Quantitative Literacy (QL)
- Academic Literacy (AL)

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE:
- All registered students get access to the NBT Workshop free of charge. If you are not a registered student, view the workshop price under "Fees" below.
- We offer NBT PREPARATION lessons ONLY.
- You need to register for your NBT Test via the official NBT website.
- Our preparation program runs yearly, from the start of April until the end of June ONLY - not at any other time of the year (view specific dates for 2026 below).
- Therefore, we highly recommend that you write your test anytime from the last week of June until the end of the first week of July.

Below are the start and end dates of the online live NBT preparation lessons (to be held via Zoom):
- Mathematics (MAT):
Starts: Monday, 06 April 2026
Ends: Monday, 22 June 2026 - Quantitative Literacy (QL):
Starts: Friday, 10 April 2026
Ends: Friday, 26 June 2026 - Academic Literacy (AL):

Anytime between 27 June 2026 and 6 July 2026.

- MAT (Mathematics):
Every Monday | 19:30–20:30 with Mr. B live online.
Please try to attend live lessons. Recordings will be uploaded to the Horizon Online Tuition platform. - QL (Quantitative Literacy):
Every Friday | 21:00–22:00 with Mr. Ayhan live online.
Please try to attend live lessons. Recordings will be uploaded to the Horizon Online Tuition platform. - AL (Academic Literacy):
No live lessons.
Recorded videos are available on the Horizon Online Tuition platform.

R5 000 for the full program (once-off payment in advance), irrespective of which lessons are attended.
